Goodbye Summer

In a way, I'm kind of willing Summer away. I know, it should be a crime, I spend days and days planning summer, the heat, the parties, the wardrobe, and most of all moaning when we don't get the heat I anticipated. But then Autumn comes, and it's not actually that bad. Once you look past the falling temperatures, shorter days and lack of flip-flops, you see an enchanting, glorious world of shearling, mulled wine, leather boots and Halloween! I thought I'd better get my wear out of Summer's wardrobe before I say goodbye to kaftans and hello to jumpers, until I go forth into the magical land previously mentioned.

River Island skirt, New Look boots, necklace and vest top, Primark denim waistcoat.

What are you most looking forward to about Autumn?

  3. I really like this look...they are such transitional pieces!

I'm looking forward to layering. Fall is most definitely my favorite season and with the chilly weather I love to layer different pieces.

  7. oh i love this sleeveless look with tights!!! I think that makes it look much edgier. very pretty. I'm very excited for Fall too and have some guilt about wishing Summer would go away. It's still in the 80s and 90s here and I'm looking for 60s-70s :) Just once the sun is gone... it goes for awhile so I know I should enjoy it while it lasts!

  18. great skirt! i love your hair it's beautiful <3 the thing i look forward to the most in Autumn is just.. well, the falling orange leaves. i live in Indonesia and we don't have four seasons over here. i've only witnessed those orange leaves all over town when I went on a vacation to Korea, and that's about it. so for me even the most basic everyday Autumn will do ;)

  22. Super cool outfit! I love that skirt! :) I'm looking forward to fall...of course, where I'm at, the weather never really changed, it was the same all year...kind of cold-ish with wind and fog and random sunny days. But I look forward to wearing more warmer sweaters and layers and baking at home and just seeing the general changes of happier attitudes in people knowing that Christmas is soon to come.
